56th game of Indian Premier League on 14th May at 08:00 IST

It will be classic dead rubber as Delhi Daredevils host Royal Challengers Bangalore in a game played at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi. Zaheer Khan will be keen to finish on the high after a disappointing lose a number of games with the bat. Sanju Samson and Shreyas Iyer are turning out to be promising players for the future as Delhi will look build upon a group of young players for the coming season. The bowling was top-notch for Delhi throughout the season with Pat Cummins and Zaheer Khan leading the way. Shahbaz Nadeem after good first few games was sidelined for the whole season as left-arm spinner looked in good form. Delhi batting was woeful at times as they were shot out for 60 runs on two occasions with Karun Nair as the captain of the side due to Zaheer hamstring injury that kept him out for a couple of games. Kagiso Rabada also bowled well for the games played so far in the league. Amit Mishra after a bad start to the season came back well with the ball in hand.

Royal Challengers Bangalore had to endure the worst season of their Indian Premier League history as last year’s finalist were touted to be a force to be reckoned with this season as well. Things did not go to plan as franchise were hampered by injuries from the start with Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers out of for first couple of the season. KL Rahul was ruled out of the season due to injury. Kedhar Jadhav, Travis Head and Virat Kohli did bat well in the couple of games while the side did not deliver with the bat as they went onto concede ten defeats in the season.

Players to watch out for

Travis Head is a good player that has done well down the order for RCB. Head will hold the key for Bangalore if they want to end the season with a win under their belt.

Zaheer Khan is a massive player of the side as left-arm pacer would be keen to deliver the goods with the ball in hand in a game played at home.

Head to Head record: The two sides have played almost 18 games out which Royal Challengers have been victorious on 11 occasions with Delhi taking the game six times. One game ended in no result. RCB also hold an advantage at Delhi as they have won four games out of six played against Delhi.
