The second game of the series between England and West indies will be played at Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium in Antigua. England notched up a comfortable win in the first one over the hosts. The game is scheduled to start at 13:30 GMT on 5th March on Sunday.
Eoin Morgan produced a superb hundred on a surface that was variable in pace as stroke-making looked tough from the world go. Sam Billing also scored a crucial half century while Stokes chipped in with run-a-ball half century to see the side score over 290 plus in their first innings. Chris Woakes and Liam Plunkett took four wickets apiece while Steve Finn also bowled well with the new ball. We tip Chris Woakes to take 3 more wickets in this game while expect Billings to get a score of 70 plus in the first innings.
The batting failed for West Indies in the first game as Jason Mohammad and Jonathan Carter provided only resistance to the England’s attack. Evin Lewis is tipped to score 50 plus runs in this game while Kraigg Brathwaite can also score some runs in the second game of the series. The side lost wickets early in the first game and never looked in the hunt as they fell well short of the target. Devendra Bishoo was expensive with the ball while fast bowlers did a decent job in the game.
Shannon Gabriel looked good with the ball upfront while the rest did well to keep England under a score of 300 runs.Jason Holder also did not do well with the bat and ball as he will looking to a better show in the second game of the series at the same venue in Antigua.
We are predicting England to win the series against in-experienced West Indies lineup short of game time and confidence.
