Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders
The defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad will square off against leaders in the league Kolkata Knight Riders at home. The visitors are in the form of their life with top three batsmen firing on all cylinders in all the games played so far while bowling has been superb with Nathan Coulter-Nile leading the way for the side followed by Kuldeep Yadav and Sunil Narine. The teams are quite similar in strategy with heavy top order batting with fine bowling.
This should be evenly contested game as Bhuvneshwar Kumar will compete Nathan Coulter Nile in terms of which bowler will rule the roost on the given day. Kumar currently holds the Purple Cap with 18 scalps to his name while adequate from Ashish Nehra and Siddharth Kaul helped Hyderabad register their first win away from home. The two captains in David Warner and Gautam Gambhir are top run-scorers for their side respectively. Robin Uthappa has been in splendid touch of late as he seems to be striking the ball in the right spot at the moment with everything going for the aggressive stroke maker. Kane Williamson has also shown consistency to provide runs for Hyderabad while Yuvraj Singh will have come in with good performance if top order fails to deliver in any of the coming games this season.
Kolkata main area of concern is their fielding but strong bowling performances over the last couple of game meant that the side has not faced their true test yet. Hyderabad have managed to win all their games this season as they will look to extend their unbeaten at home while Kolkata are coming into the game with three wins on the trot as David Warner will be keen to topple Knight Riders off the top place as it will be a clash of heavyweights come this Sunday.
