Team News :Cricket Betting Tips

Probably two of the best sides in the IPL history, Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are not looking similar in this season so far. While CSK are playing their best cricket, MI are on the verge of making an exit in the ongoing season. In the first battle of this season, DJ Bravo and Kedar Jadhav helped Chennai win an epic thriller over Rohit Sharma’s army. Can MI make a comeback this time? Let’s have look at their strengths and weaknesses:

Mumbai Indians (MI)

Mumbai Indians are the 3-time IPL champion

Having won just 1 game so far, Mumbai Indians are playing their worst-ever cricket. Another loss from here can almost end their campaign. So, its important for the side to make a comeback at this stage only otherwise the current champions would be out soon.

Strengths

Spinners on track – Bowlers like Mayank Markande and Krunal Pandya are bowling a tight length and are impressing their franchise constantly. Markande was effective against CSK in the IPL opener as he got MS Dhoni with his brilliant googly. Pandya too is bowling wicket-to-wicket, which is a positive sign for any bowler.

Good record against CSK – Probably the only team who can put CSK in trouble on numerous occasions; MI can play their best cricket at any time. If they are in form then it’s tough to beat them, no matter on what turf they are playing. Their head-to-head battle is quite interesting with Mumbai have won 12 games and CSK have won 11 games. Now, do you think MI can make a comeback against CSK?

Weakness

No Hitman show – Rohit Sharma is unable to lead from the front so far. He has been out of form with his willow and of course in the captaincy as well. This is most probably his last chance to prove his worth otherwise MI would be out of the tournament.

Rohit Sharma will be key for Mumbai Indians in the clash against CSK

Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

Chennai Super Kings are playing their best cricket in this season

They are playing just the way they are known for! Dhoni’s splendid form, Bravo’s tight line with the ball, Watson’s carnage and Rayudu’s scintillating show; Chennai Super Kings are going really well in this tournament so far. They have lost just 1 game and won all the other battles.

Strengths

MS Dhoni in action for CSK in IPL 2018

Captain leading from front – Skipper MS Dhoni himself is playing his best cricket in this season. Several questions were raised over his T20 performance but he vanished every single thought from his haters’ mind. His recent heroics is a proof that another couple of years cricket is left in him.

Shane Watson of CSK. (IPLT20)

Openers performing – Watson & Rayudu are in solid form with the willow. They are providing solid start to their side in almost every game, which is the foremost reason of CSK’s success. Just like before, a game against Mumbai will be their another chance of making it worth.

Weakness

Bowlers spending too much – Without any doubt, the Men in Yellow are having a joy with the bat but their bowling is a matter of concern. The likes of Tahir, Bhajji and Jadeja are going for runs while Deepak Chahar is the only bowler who has impressed so far.
